Jeremy Brown joined Cardelli Lanfear in 2017. His primary responsibilities include composing appellate briefs and drafting dispositive motions. He has submitted briefs in Michigan district courts and circuit courts, as well as the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Michigan. He has also submitted briefs in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining Cardelli Lanfear, Mr. Brown worked in the legal department for the City of Dearborn where he represented the City in a wide range of criminal and civil matters. Mr. Brown also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Borman and the Honorable Avern Cohn in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan where he was responsible for drafting bench memoranda and court opinions.

Mr. Brown gained valuable experience interning for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia and for the Honorable Nancy G. Edmunds in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Brown also has volunteered for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and various legal clinics.

Jeremy is married and has one child, a daughter. His wife, Katie Brown, is an

employment law attorney who practices in Southfield. He also teaches high school students on the weekends.
