Summary Disposition Granted in Wayne County Auto Negligence Case

Attorneys Michael Smith and Rachelle Miller recently secured a motion for summary disposition on behalf of our client in a Wayne County auto negligence case. The plaintiff was injured while entering our client’s parked vehicle when the vehicle next to it pulled forward and pinched the Plaintiff’s arm between the two vehicles. The plaintiff alleged negligence against both drivers. After extensive discovery, our team demonstrated that our client’s vehicle had been properly parked within the lines before the other vehicle arrived and was not moving at the time of the incident. The court agreed, granting summary disposition and finding that no reasonable juror could conclude our client was negligent.
